Hewitt Tool Engineering Incorporated was founded September 1989 by Peter M Hewitt following the closure of a world re-known cutting tool manufacturing plant in Smiths Falls. Located in south eastern Ontario only 60 minutes from the Ottawa International airport and 45 minutes from Northern New York, USA. 

Since our inception in 1989 we have been dedicated to excellence in quality, competitive pricing and service.  Our steady growth is a result of the high quality standards used to satisfy our customer's needs.

Our equipment has been chosen from the most reputable Swiss, German and North American machine tool manufacturers.  Many of our machines have been specially engineered for precision manufacturing and inspection of cutting tools.

This machinery combined with the talent of a highly skilled work force with over 50 years of cutting tool experience. Specializing in Reamers, Drills, Countersinks, Counterbores, carbide tipped tooling, threaded shank tooling,  and their derivatives.
