During the week of August 11th to August 13th ( Confirmed Date TBA)

A clinic aimed at Educating the National Quiz Teams and the C2/B test candidates will be held at Hawkridge Farm in Elgin.

Tina - combined driving - harness types and parts, harnessing demonstration, dressage test, cone test and an obstacle demonstration. Tina is a combined driving competitor at Intermediate level. She has wintered/trained at Southern Pines for several years and competes activily in the US and Canada. She lives in the Jones Falls area and has offered to trailer her equipment over to Hawkridge. Approx: 2.5 hours

Feed - Kasia will be giving a condensed segment of her feed clinic and giving every one samples of all the different feeds that you may be asked to identify at Quiz and Testing. She will also explain the types and their nutritional value. Approx: 1.5 hour

Bits & Tack: Identifying bits and classifying them in groups based on their use and action. I now have over 145 bits in my collection and everyone can have a chance to look at them freely. We can see some tack that is not so common in most barns. Approx: 1hr

How to handle appeals and speaking to testers with "confidence". "What does a tester want to see and hear"  This will be very beneficial to all who are testing and the team captains for Quiz. I may also call on Cat to help in this area. Approx: 1 hr

Bandaging - elective! during a lunch break those who would like to take a shot at bandaging and have them critiqued may do so. Real horses would be the preference but the back up will be my plastic legs. This is directly geared to anyone testing. However that is 1/2 of the group :)

Conformation - Elective - of more value to testing than to Quiz but if you would like this clinic please let me know. Conditioning - Elective - the choice of date will govern this clinic.

C2 & B Test - August 23rd/August 24th

National Quiz 2008 - October 10th - October 13th
